Talk:Wp/enm/Armure

There are two minor issues about this article that are bothering me. First of all, is "used" really the past participle of "usen" like it is for "use" in Modern English? Second of all, is there a better word for vehicles than "chares"? If you find any answers or alternatives, please discuss them. --Qmwne235 01:02, 31 March 2008 (UTC)

Indeed, the past participle of usen is used, or usede, if you really wanted to make it distinct. Additionally, I have changed many of the spellings and words in this article. (To my knowledge, machine wasn't attested Middle English.) The only alternative that I could find for chares was carres.--X Parasite 08:09, 5 September 2009 (UTC)

    Harneis[edit]

Piers Plowman has "harneis" meaning armour. Is "armour/armure" correct ME? Varlaam (talk) 07:15, 30 June 2013 (UTC)
