Incubator:Why?

From Incubator Plus 2.0

The Wikimedia Incubator is the normal Incubator, but the policy of the Wikimedia Incubator does not allow test languages without a valid ISO-639 code. We understand the reasons for that, but we want to give all languages a chance to develop a project like Wikipedia, Wiktionary or whatsoever. The original creators of the Incubator Plus wanted to have a safe place for test languages. We want to guarantee safety for your test at the Incubator Plus. Of course there can always be vandalism, but we hope to reverse vandalism as quickly as possible.

This new Incubator Plus (or Incubator Plus 2.0) is being created because the original location of Incubator Plus (Wikia) is becoming a harder place to work. The creators of this new wiki hope to make it easier for people to work on Incubator Plus projects.

Another reason for the creation of the Incubator Plus is that it's possible to propose the deletion of an unsuccesful test (inactive test) or a test without a proposal at Meta-Wiki or which is rejected by the WMF Language Committee. Such a test can be moved here, instead of having all the work that went into it deleted.
