Why choose Incubator Plus 2.0 over own Miraheze subdomain?[edit]

Miraheze lets anyone create a whole wiki with their own subdomain and without the inconvenience of prefixes. I don't want to sound harsh, but I don't see any advantages of choosing Incubator Plus 2.0 over that. Incubator on Wikimedia is used specifically because you can't make your own domain before "incubating" it. I hoped there would've been some affiliation/alliance group that already-existent (and independent) non-ISO language Wikipedia-like wikis could join. Thanks in advance. -Studeni (talk) 21:10, 26 April 2022 (UTC)

@User:Studeni: Yes, everyone can create their own wiki. Some people however prefer to be here because your own wiki can be lonely. Also, inactive wiki's get deleted, which is not the case for Incubator Plus 2.0. --Ooswesthoesbes (talk) 14:31, 30 April 2022 (UTC)
Oh yeah, I realized that a little later after asking the question. The inactivity is definitely an issue that can happen with a lot of these projects. I happened to join the Interslavic wiki (see my userpage) at a good time, because it started getting a little inactive. There was a sudden drop in activity there mid-2021 for some reason. I appreciate the answer. -Studeni (talk) 02:58, 1 May 2022 (UTC)
