Welcome! --Ooswesthoesbes (talk) 08:41, 28 January 2021 (UTC)

@Ooswesthoesbes Thank you very much. How would one go about starting a new project on here? --CanadianToast (talk) 19:19, 28 January 2021 (UTC)
As the Incubator extension is enabled, you would need a three-letter code to prefix all your pages with. What project were you thinking of? --Ooswesthoesbes (talk) 08:39, 30 January 2021 (UTC)
@Ooswesthoesbes Well, I have two projects in mind. The deletion of Middle English Wikipedia is currently being discussed on Incubator and an administrator suggested we move it here. So if it ends up being deleted, I'd like to move it here. Secondly, I'm thinking about moving a personal project here. I've been working on a Wiki in Western Pennsylvania English on FANDOM and this seems like it might be a better home for it. FANDOM isn't really equipped for proper wikis. You can find it here. --CanadianToast (talk) 17:33, 30 January 2021 (UTC)
Well, in case of Middle English, I suggest you await the outcome of that discussion.
Moving the Pittsburghese Wiki to here will be no problem, as it is still very small. For that, you will need to chose a three-letter code, such as "wpe", "pit" etc. --Ooswesthoesbes (talk) 09:04, 31 January 2021 (UTC)
@Ooswesthoesbes Alright. I think "pit" should do. --CanadianToast (talk) 18:52, 31 January 2021 (UTC)
I imported the wiki. I see you made extensive use of non-HTML tags such as <infobox>. Unfortunately, these do not work here as far as I'm aware, so you will have to change them into normal wiki templates. If you need help with that, let me know. --Ooswesthoesbes (talk) 07:57, 1 February 2021 (UTC)
@Ooswesthoesbes I've discovered that the code "pit" is taken. Could we switch to "pgh"? --CanadianToast (talk) 18:58, 1 February 2021 (UTC)
I can move the pages for you, but updating all the links is a lot of work. Unfortunately, I do not have them time for that. So if you really want that, I will move it for you, but you'll have to update the links yourself. But note that it does not really matter whether a code is used or not. If a language has a valid code, it can start a project on Wikimedia Incubator. --Ooswesthoesbes (talk) 07:24, 2 February 2021 (UTC)
@Ooswesthoesbes I don't mind updating the links myself. --CanadianToast (talk) 16:27, 2 February 2021 (UTC)
Alright, all pages and templates were moved. Unfortunately, I can't find a way to easily move all categories in one go, so that's something that still has to be done. --Ooswesthoesbes (talk) 18:28, 2 February 2021 (UTC)
